Heartworm, Flea, and Tick Prevention

Heartworm, Flea, and Tick prevention is recommended year-round for all dogs. We offer a variety of products in the hospital and through our Online Store. Please let us know if you need your dog’s next dose.
  • Simparica Trio – Once a month oral tablet for Heartworm, roundworm, hookworm, flea, and tick prevention
  • Milbeguard – Once a month oral tablet for Heartworm, roundworm, hookworm, and whipworm prevention
  • Heartgard – Once a month oral tablet for Heartworm, roundworm, and hookworm prevention
  • Simparica – Once a month oral tablet for flea and tick prevention
  • Seresto – Eight-month collar for flea and tick prevention
  • Vectra 3D – Once a month topical flea and tick prevention
If your pet has fleas in the hospital at the time of surgery, we will require a flea treatment to be applied or administered. There is a charge for this medication.
We send all surgical patients home with an Elizabethan collar. If you already have one, please bring it to the surgical appointment so that we can make sure it is the right fit for your dog.
